Our Behaviour Curriculum helps children develop the character, habits and self-discipline needed to become respectful, responsible and successful members of society.
The curriculum is built around three principle expectations:
Children are taught to arrive prepared for learning, follow instructions, listen carefully, wear the correct uniform, bring the equipment they need and show enthusiasm and curiosity for their education.
We encourage pupils to demonstrate kindness, good manners and consideration for others. This includes using polite language, valuing differences, taking responsibility for mistakes and respecting both people and property.
Children learn how to keep themselves and others safe through sensible and predictable behaviour in classrooms, corridors, playgrounds and shared spaces across the school.
Pupils are taught clear expectations for learning, movement around school, playtimes, lunchtimes and interactions with others.

Our aim is for these behaviours to become positive lifelong habits. By consistently teaching and practising them, we help pupils develop confidence, resilience, gratitude, respect and self-discipline, enabling them to thrive both in school and beyond.
The Behaviour Curriculum supports all pupils and is adapted where appropriate to meet individual SEND and SEMH needs, ensuring every child can succeed, feel valued and develop a sense of belonging within our school community.
